The Jhonnites Lineages of the Gnostic Church of Denmark

1.       The Johannite Lineage of Larmenius

(Eglise Johannite des Chrétiens Primitifs)

In 1804 several Frenchmen, including the former Roman Catholic priest, Bernard Fabré-Palaprat, founded the Ordre du Temple and, Using the Larmenius Charter, declared it to be a continuation of the medieval Templar Order, which was suppressed in 1312.

Other former Roman Catholic priests joined the order and its church, which was influential in the revival of esoteric Catholicism and Templarism.  Several churches and orders currently trace a line of Apostolic succession through this nineteenth century Neo-Templar movement.
